Opening soon in Cumming, Georgia, The Armory will serve as a year-round training hub for athletes of all ages who are ready to take their game to the next level. Founded by former New York Yankees player and former Miami Marlins hitting coach Matt Pita, The Armory combines professional insight, player-first development, and a family-driven culture that’s rooted in years of experience at every level of the game. The Armory isn’t just another batting cage, it’s a complete player-development facility. From private lessons in hitting, pitching, and fielding to team training sessions, rentals, and seasonal camps, every program is built around helping athletes grow through structure, accountability, and consistency.

Each session is designed to meet players where they are, whether it’s mastering mechanics, refining approach, or building confidence between the lines. With professional-level instruction and a focus on detail, The Armory provides an environment where players can develop both their skills and their mindset. With the experience that Matt has as a player and a coach, he has the knowledge of exactly what scouts and college coaches are looking for when recruiting players. He can build out exact player plans that the professionals are doing to help bridge the gap quicker for your athlete to excel. A Facility Built for the Community

The Armory was created with one goal in mind: to give back to the game and community that has given so much in return. After years spent in dugouts all over the country, Matt wanted to bring his experience to a home base, creating a place where local athletes can train like professionals, but feel like family. The facility will feature multiple full-length cages, bullpen mounds, a strength and conditioning zone, and open turf space for team practices and defensive work.
