Travel & Fall Ball Teams

BUILT DIFFERENT. PLAY DIFFERENT.
The Armory fields travel baseball teams from 9U through 17U, training out of our Rochester and Batavia facilities. Every travel program says “development.” Ours is built around one promise: your player will be measurably better, and you will see the proof in writing.

2027 SUMMER PREMIER TRAVEL
Premier League + tournaments. A full Premier League schedule plus a tournament schedule, with league fees, insurance, umpires, and tournament entries built into one season fee.
Year-round training. One team practice per week from September through February, indoors all winter, ramping up to multiple sessions per week in March and April so the team arrives in June ready to play.
Uniform package. Two jerseys, pants, hat, and helmet.
WHAT EVERY ARMORY PLAYER GETS
Paid professional coaching. Every team is led by paid coaches with professional or college playing backgrounds. No volunteer parent coaches.
An individual development plan. Every player is baseline-tested and gets a written plan built for them: their swing, their arm, their speed, their goals.
Written progress reports. Skill grades, measurables (exit velo, throwing velo, 60 time), and next steps, issued throughout the year.
Strength & speed training. A lifting program written for each athlete, supervised at The Armory, and re-tested through the year.
Capped rosters. Rosters are capped on purpose so every player plays and develops.
Two locations. Miss your team’s practice for another sport? Drop into another Armory session that week at either location and get the reps in.
Recruiting support for 17U. Recruiting profile, video package, verified measurables, exposure events, and college outreach across D1, D2, D3, NAIA, and JUCO.
HOW WE DEVELOP PLAYERS
1. Assess. Baseline testing: exit velocity, bat speed, throwing velocity, 60-yard dash, and position skills. Numbers, not opinions.
2. Plan. A written Individual Development Plan with specific goals, drills, and a timeline, walked through with parents.
3. Train. Weekly practices plus strength and agility work attack the plan, with every player’s reps tracked against their goals.
4. Prove it. Written Development Reports through the year with updated measurables and the next phase of the plan.
FALL BALL
Our fall program is built for athletes who want to separate themselves: the Boys of Summer Fall League plus 1–2 tournaments in September and October, with weekly practice at The Armory. The focus is hitting, defense, approach, and becoming game-ready athletes who perform under pressure. League entry, tournaments, uniform, and weekly facility practice are included.
TRYOUTS & JOINING A TEAM
Tryout and evaluation dates are announced on our Facebook and Instagram pages. Want to see the facility first? Call or text 585-615-0003 to get on the tryout list or set up a visit at either location.
